NC State's College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS) aims to teach students to become leaders and to meet the needs of our agriculture, food and life science industries. CALS is proud of its small-school feel with big-school opportunities. 
 

On-Campus Experiences

CALS Spend a Day at State (4-year degree programs): High School Sophomores and Juniors

Agricultural Institute Spend a Day at State (2-year degree programs): High School Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors
Connect with faculty, staff and students at the Agricultural Institute (AGI). Explore AGI majors and see if AGI for you! Bring your family and questions to solidify your path. These events are offered on select days throughout the spring. Register here.

Prospective High School Freshmen Student Visit Opportunities

We find that students get the most out of a CALS-specific visit once they have this general background. To begin your college search, we encourage all prospective students to first attend a general campus admissions information session and tour. Think of it as an essential "University 101" to learn about campus life and applications.
