Spring Orientation Campus Visits

On-Campus Visits

We’re so excited that you’ve decided to join the Wolfpack and can’t wait to see you at orientation. In addition to the required virtual session on January 5, 2021 and online module, students are invited to attend an optional Campus Visit at NC State.

The cost of participation for students and families is included in the mandatory fees charged to all new students. No payment is due to New Student Programs, and the first-year student fee (first-year students) or transfer student fee (transfer students) will be included in your spring tuition bill.

Campus Visit Details

Visits will be held in Talley Student Union, and attendance is optional. The Campus Visit will consist of a guided campus tour, presentation, ID card distribution, and the opportunity to explore campus after the formal program. Keep in mind that there will be a lot of moving around campus throughout the program. Learn more by visiting the New Student Orientation website.

Visits will begin at 8:30a.m. and end at 11:30a.m. EST. There will be an opportunity to continue exploring campus on your own throughout the afternoon after the formal program ends.
Each student can register up to two family members or supporters as guests for Family Orientation. If you’d like to bring additional guests, they can join you after 11:30a.m. to explore campus.

You will receive a confirmation email once you register, as well as reminder emails closer to the day of the event with event details and instructions to prepare for your visit.

Health and Safety Information

Participants of the Campus Visit must follow the health and safety guidelines provided in NC State’s Protect the Pack Community Standards and Personal Safety Rules, and understand the practices and policies implemented by NC State to help reduce the transmission of COVID-19.
