    NC State Counselor Fly-In 2020

    Join a select group of out-of-state high school counselors who will get an up-close look at our cutting-edge facilities, meet our world-leading faculty and discover the wealth of educational and extracurricular opportunities.  


    What will be covered?

    • Travel expenses to Raleigh (flight or mileage).
    • Complimentary single occupancy hotel accommodations at the Aloft Hotel (directly across the street from campus). If a Friday evening flight is not an option, we will cover hotel accommodations until Saturday, February 8.
    • All meals and events during your visit Wednesday, February 5 - Friday, February 7, 2020.

    What will not be covered?   

    • Transportation from Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU) to and from the hotel. The airport is approximately 10 miles from the hotel.
    • If staying overnight Friday evening, dinner on Friday and breakfast on Saturday morning will not be covered. 
     

    Tentative Schedule of Events

    Wednesday, February 5, 2020 

    • Arrival: Hotel check-in begins at 3 p.m. 
    • Welcome Dinner and Admissions Presentation at 5:30 p.m. 

    Thursday, February 6 - Friday, February 7, 2020

    • Experience all that NC State has to offer! You’ll spend time at Hunt Library (named by Time Magazine as the Library of the Future), tour our campus facilities,  learn more about our academic programs and see what sets NC State apart.
    • Counselor Fly-in Program will end Friday at 4 p.m. 

    Selected participants will be notified on November 20, 2019 and asked to confirm their attendance.
