Thank you for your interest in the Emerging Scholars Academy pre-college summer program. Due to the recent COVID-19 outbreak, the Office of Undergraduate Admissions has transitioned the program from an on-campus residential program to a fully online format for the summer 2020 program. Students will participate in virtual workshops for an hour each Wednesday in June and July to learn about university student life, engage in topics as they relate to the African-American/Black community and higher education, and receive assistance with the college application and financial aid process.

The NC State Emerging Scholars Academy is for you if you:

    • Are a rising 11th grader
    • Have a cumulative GPA of a 3.5 or higher or are in the top 10% of your class.
    • Are interested in African American topics
    • Are a leader in your school, family and/or community

You must submit the form to indicate an interest in attending Emerging Scholars Academy. Complete and submit the form below as well as your unofficial high school transcript by April 30, 2020.

Contact Darrius Campbell, Assistant Director, if you have any questions at darrius_campbell@ncsu.edu or 919-515-2434.

    Registration is no longer available.
